Description
This electronic ballast incorporates an internal microprocessor that allows a soft start for the lamps and intelligently detects the tension of the lamp to prolong its life. This gradual ignition is more efficient and simultaneously avoids an excessive load. It’s related to a self-protection mechanism that extends the life of the equipment.
The gradual turn on allows the lamps turn on separately and randomly at interval of 0 to 7 seconds to reduce the inrush current.
When working, the internal heat will dissipate through the aluminum box and the dissipating fins, but in the event that the internal temperature reaches 85 ºC, the ballast will reduce the power to 80%. If the internal temperature rises to 90 ºC it will stop working and will restart once the temperature lowered to 70 ºC, at which point it reaches its full charge status.
