Description
The Kappa series from Solux has been developed for efficient use in large indoor projects, but is also suitable for smaller projects for personal use. This luminaire combines a generation of new highly efficient agricultural COB’s from Citizen and passive cooling at the highest level.
This not only maximises the savings potential but also increases quality and avoids problems as there are no moving parts (fans).
In indoor cultivation high light intensities with massive photon flux density are required. Kappa provides this type of light to achieve the best harvests, consuming less electricity and maximising the exposed surface by distributing the light emission points along the aluminium profile. In this way, the light reaches the lowest leaves of the crop.
Optimal for 1m²: 3 bars (300W)
The passive cooling system based on fluted aluminium fins allows for silent and maintenance-free operation of the luminaire.
The PW spectrum offers a more natural light, visually the plants show their characteristic colours, which allows a better visual control of the pathologies that may affect the crop. The balance between wavelengths is favourable for compact and lush morphogenesis. Suitable for all stages of cultivation.
Solux Kappa can also be mounted with PRB type COBs (red and blue) on request. As standard they are mounted with PW as it is the closest spectrum to sunlight.
