The Twin Controller PRO with slave works in exactly the same way as the original Twin Controller, but has a humidity control function that is activated when the lights are switched off. This function allows the greenhouse to “breathe” during the dark cycle, avoiding high humidity when it is most important to do so… at night! The humidity function is activated by a photosensor and can be switched on or off at any time.
The features of maximum load, programming, settings, controls, etc., are identical in the original and PRO version.
The TwinController is a software operated controller (not mechanical) programmed to manage the greenhouse temperature with the SMSCOM developed “Motion Flow” program. The TwinController requires 5 minutes to scan the temperature of the growing area and make an evaluation of the gradual increase or decrease of the extractors, choosing between 60 levels of fan speed. At all times, it automatically calculates and varies the fan speed to maintain the programmed temperature. This new technique means that there will be no more temperature fluctuations and fan noise is kept to a minimum. The Twin Controller ensures negative air pressure through perfect synchronisation of both fans and independent regulation of the output fan thanks to the “Extra Fan Speed” function.
