The team works with a diverse group of some of the best horticulturists around the world; each one specializing in specific production processes of plants and varieties for the market of ornamental and commercial flowers.
DLI (Dutch Lighting Innovations) has allowed these groups a new level of consistency, reliability and quality unparalleled in the niche world of the cultivation of the best flowers and plants on Earth. DLI Lights are manufactured to have the hiGHEst possible total reflectance in all wavelengths from 400 to 700 nm, giving excellent PAR reproduction. The integrated hemispHeric reflectance is greater than 95% with absence of iridescent colors in the optics.
DLI reflectors are made of an electrochemically illuminated high-purity aluminum substrate coil, and begin with an anodized base layer that provides hard support to minimize abrasion damage. The material is vacuum treated with specially developed processes to maximize the adhesion of the coating and is vacuum coated with a super pure 99.99% Aluminum reflection layer.
These reflection layers are superimposed with a double layer oxide system tuned for maximum improvement of visible reflection. This serves to increase the overall reflectivity provided by the metal layers and adds protection against damage.
