SOLUX MASTER CONTROLLER

Description

The Solux Master Controllers allow you to control any luminaire with an RJ14 connection, for example the Galaxy LED family or the Solux Solara and Espectra luminaires, giving you maximum control, ease of use, ease of installation and the security of plug and play.

The controller can switch all connected fixtures on and off with its internal clock, adjust them to your required output level (in percentage or exact output power) and even simulate sunrise and sunset to gradually adjust the climate in your greenhouse when your lights are switched on or off. This electronic controller replaces lighting timers and contactors while avoiding peak start-up current when switching lights on.

Two very important features are the autodim function and emergency stop. When the temperature in the grow room rises beyond the level selected in the climate control of your crop, the crop can be damaged without the possibility of recovery.

The temperature probe detects this and will automatically dim the lights so as not to exceed the selected temperature, and maintain it.

The display and LED warning indicates when this happens, and also indicates if this has happened in your absence so that you can correct the problem. If for any reason your climate control fails completely and the temperature rises to unacceptable levels the system will perform an emergency shutdown of all connected equipment. The alarm contact on the controller can be connected to your alarm system for instant notification.

CONNECTING THE CONTROLLER TO THE LUMINAIRES

The Solux Master Controller includes the connection to the first luminaire (RJ19/RJ14 cable). Just connect the wires from the controller to the ballasts with the 3-port RJ14 plug, connect the controller and the ballasts directly to the mains and you are ready to go.

Thereafter, to connect further luminaires, you need to purchase an RJ14 interconnecting cable and continue with the connections between luminaires.
