WHY CHOOSE ELECTRONIC BALLASTS INSTEAD OF TRADITIONAL ELECTROMAGNETIC BALLASTS?
- Quick start. It reaches its maximum power in less than a minute, however the electromagnetic ballasts reach to take 20 minutes to be at full capacity.
- Completely silent. You have to be very close to the ballast to hear a very weak sound.
- Small, compact design. A 600 W ballast weighs less than 4 kilos compared to 8 kilos of electromagnetic ballast.
- It produces less heat.
- Security circuit. To protect the ballast and the lamp from any damage.
- Extend the lifespan of the lamp. The loss of lamp lumens over time is drastically lower than that of a conventional ballast.
- Completely compatible. You can connect high pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide lamps (HM) prepared to work on sodium ballasts (Sunmaster).
- More lumens. From 20 to 30% more lumens than with an electromagnetic ballast. More lumens = More harvest.
- Dimmable light intensity. To adapt the light to the pHenological state of the plants, the Solux ballasts allow the light to be dimmed from 50%, passing through 75%, 100% and 110% (Super Lumens).
