Description

The HPS 400W 240v HPS Dual Spectrum (e40) bulb is a pulse ignition lamp, created for use with the Lumatek dimmable electronic ballast 240V . The bulb is manufactured with high quality ceramic arc tube technology and a horticultural gas mixture that generates an optimal spectrum for plant growth.

The bulb can operate at high internal temperatures by taking advantage of PCA ceramic arc tube technology, thereby improving colour rendering, output and efficiency. This system stabilises the chemical mixture over the life of the lamp, achieving consistency of colour and PAR/PPF level. Pulse starting gives faster start-up, longer life and better light maintenance.
