The Solarmax 1000e, for double capped high pressure sodium lamps (HPS), is a state-of-the-art Vanguard luminaire. It uses HPS double capped lamp technology, delivering the tried and true results growers depend on, with class leading PPF (Photosynthetic Photno Flux).
The ultimate solution for commercial and even indoor greenhouses. For use on ornamental, horticultural and also medicinal plants, these luminaires provide the plantation lighting they need throughout the crop, both in growth and in flowering. The 1000W double cap lamp (not included) is the most efficient HPS lamp on the market.
The Solarmax 1000e luminaire keeps electronics passively cooled, significantly reducing the possibility of failures and prolonging its useful life.
The D.E. HPS Pro special for high frequency electronic ballasts like the Colossus. These lamps can be used in some Sun System luminaires, Sun System reflectors and some Gavita reflectors and luminaires.
Its connection is double-ended and its nomenclature means Double Ended, that is, double end. The lamp has a terminal wire on each side, eliminating the need for a structure inside to support the wire. The absence of this structure eliminates shadows in the emitted beam. For horizontal use only.
The cover of these lamps is made of quartz glass, so it should not be touched with your hands directly as grease can damage the lamp.
