The Brix Refractometer is a precision optical tool used to measure sugar concentrations in aqueous solutions.
The brix meter works by the principle of refraction of liquids and gives us an idea of the health of the plant and its absorption of nutrients. From value 12 it is considered that the plant is growing healthy.
WHAT ARE THE BRIX DEGREES THAT THE BRIX REFRACTOMETER MEASURES?
Brix degrees tell the level of sucrose in a liquid, through a ratio between both values. For example, if a solution has 40º Bx, it means that in 100 grams of solution there are 40g of sucrose and 60g of water.
